And every day of aid — a small, honest daily help: one essay that does the reading so you don't have to.

Both readings are intentional. AI is now daily life, and a publication that treats it like a monthly special event is lying to you.

What we publish

One considered essay at a time — not a firehose. Every piece starts from a single question: will this story still matter next year? If the answer is no, someone else can cover it. We write about the events, the trade-offs and the quiet structural changes that most coverage rushes past.

How we choose stories

• It will still matter next year. We cover durable change — policy, infrastructure, safety, open weights — over this week's demo video.
• Judgment over coverage. We tell you why something matters, not just that it happened. Every essay carries an argument.
• No hype economics. We don't sell the fear of falling behind. Nothing here exists to make you anxious; it exists to make you informed.

Our standards

• Facts first. Essays are grounded in verifiable reporting; sources are linked wherever possible and the rest is clearly attributed. We prefer saying "we don't know yet" over pretending.
• Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. No quiet edits.
